What is Somersby Gardens Estate?
The Property was established in 2003 as a home for Professor Lloyd Ibels and his wife Brenda.
The Gardens were established in 2005 and have quickly received recognition as a magnificent display of native flora and fauna.
Lloyd passed away in 2009 and as a legacy to Lloyd, Brenda decided to share their paradise by establishing self-contained accommodation to enable visitors to participate in the relaxing atmosphere and absorb the ambiance experienced by being in Somersby Gardens Estate.
The Garden also has a magnificent outdoor amphitheatre which can be utilised for speciality displays, performances or weddings. Extensive earthworks were carried out with excellent displays of rock walls and features throughout.
Many aspects of the property provide an opportunity for artists and photographers with delightful rural scenes, birds, wild deer and landscapes to delight the imagination.
Our private access to the Great North Walk offers bushwalkers and nature lovers a new dimension in activity.
